Great news is coming. By the end of 2021, it is expected that Virgin Media O2 will have added 2.5 million homes and businesses to its gigabit network. They had set their target of rolling this out across their cable network and it looks like this will be met.
As a nation we have all relied more heavily on our internet speeds over the last 18 months more than ever, especially for home schooling, working from home and just in general life and Virgin Media O2 say that speeds will really help these customers.
The following places have already been added to the new gigabit locations:
Brighton
Colchester
Derby, Gillingham
Portsmouth
Southend
Sheffield
Stoke-on-Trent
Swansea
Wakefield
