O2 Announces Zero Data Usage for Support Websites
O2 have announced that their customers will not have to use their monthly data allowance to visit 22 support websites during COVID-19.
Last week O2 confirmed that when visiting the NHS website, customers data allowance would not be used. They have now extended this to finance guidance and advice websites as well as health and emotional support, and advice sites. Including Citizens Advice and Mind
Mark Evans, CEO at O2, said:
“Our customers are the most important thing to us, and we want to ensure that they have the support they need throughout this difficult time. That’s why, further to our announcement last week zero-rating NHS websites, we’re ensuring that additional websites providing financial guidance, health and emotional advice and support can also be accessed by our customers without using any data allowance for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis.”
At these challenging times it’s so comforting to see large organisations offering their support and help in anyway they can.
We’re proud to be partners!
