Active Digital supports Moatlands Farm Golf Day for Hospice in the Weald
Supporting customers has always been an important part of the Active Digital company ethos. Despite the soaring UK temperatures, on 18th July 2022, Active Digital put a team together to play in the charity golf day in memory of Ross Browning of local Kent business, Moatlands Farm. The charity golf day, organised by Alison Browning was raising funds for Hospice in the Weald in Ross’s memory.
For those unfamiliar with Hospice in the Weald, they provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, and those important to them, in West Kent and northern East Sussex. This means we are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible, and for patients who will at some stage die from their illness, whenever that may be (you may hear this referred to as “palliative care”). Hospice in the Weald do a tremendous job ensuring that anyone affected by a terminal illness; not just patients, but also those important to them, can access the support they need when they need it. Whether this means a family member or friend, their services provide support to anyone important to a patient. They provide care which is completely tailored to each person as an individual, to help our patients make decisions that are right for them and their loved ones.
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated in the charity golf day and we hope some much needed funds were raised for Hospice in the Weald. Follow Moatlands Farm on Facebook here.
