Simple iPhone hacks…
Not much time to get some charge in your iPhone….
Place the phone into airplane mode, stick it on charge and leave it! Airplane mode will pause all background apps, GPS roaming etc, therefore allowing your phone to not be drained whilst charging.
Taking a picture whilst filming…
Its true, you can do it! With your phone in recoding mode, you will see to the left of the red recording button a white shutter icon. Press this and a picture will be taken- the picture quality won’t be as great as when normally taking a picture but still best of both worlds
Need a bit more storage space…
Hold down the power button, when the option ‘slide to power off’ comes up hold down the home button. Doing so will clear out all of your RAM which reduces the amount of space it might be taking up.
A busy Q3 for Active Digital
We have celebrated record sales across the company. With new customers joining the Active experience. Active Digital are pleased to welcome the Pilkington Trust as a customer this month.
Our VIP treatment was well received by many customers, having the chance to attend Ariana Grande and boxing at the O2, as well as England vs Ireland at Twickenham to name a few. Richard was able to take three Taekwondo Olympic Champions to the O2 to watch the Boxing in our VIP box, a fantastic night was had by all.
A visit from Charlie Hodgson was a particular highlight, offering some mentoring to the team.
We have also been busy filming some case studies with a few of our customers. Keep your eyes peeled, we will post them on our website and the My Active Digital app.

Meet the Team … Richard Groves
Most of you will know, Richard Groves, Managing Director of Active Digital.
Richard, and his sister Jo, founded Active Digital back in 1996. Richard noticed a gap in the market whilst the industry was booming with PAYG mobile phones. A clear decision was made that they would focus purely on providing business mobile phones.
Starting off by selling his Golf clubs for £300, Richard and Jo found themselves in a small shed (no joke!) based in Five Oak Green. Working tirelessly to provide the best customer experience for businesses looking to have all their telecommunications in one place and managed correctly. 20+ years down the line, Active Digital are partners to O2 and Vodafone, manage a host of VIP customers including Saracens and Jodie Kidd and have received a fair share of customer service and mobile industry awards.
Richard is still a keen golfer, often partaking in a few rounds of Golf at Dale Hill, it’s his way to unwind. Along with a huge interest in fisheries and cars!
