iSmash Partnership
This month has been a very exciting one for Active Digital and something which is hugely beneficial for our customers.
We have partnered with iSmash to make the process of repairing your phone that much easier. So now you can get your handset repaired within 4 hours, in some cases, at any of the iSmash stores across the UK. All you need is a code provided by us and the repair is then re-billed to your Active Digital account.
iSmash specialises in offering an express repair service for smartphones, tablets and computers along with a wide range of mobile accessories. Since launching in 2013, iSmash has grown to 32 repair shops across the UK and counting! Offering an express repair service powered by iSmash accredited technicians.
Our short video explains just how this repair service benefits you and what you need to do.
This partnership works alongside our existing repair service, you can continue to send your handsets to us for repair as you always have.
O2 Customer Text Message
Customer service is crucial to us as a business, we like to provide the best in class and we hope you agree. Always striving for 10/10.
Our close relationship with O2 means we are a part of their customer satisfaction programme, O2 regularly send text surveys to monitor how well we are doing, alongside how they are doing. This is why you might receive a text message from O2 asking you about the service you receive from Active Digital and O2.
This is something which is vital for how we do business, we want to know you are happy, that we are doing everything we can to make your communications simple. If you receive, or have received a text message recently, we would be very grateful if you could please take a moment to complete the short survey giving us the best possible score. It is important to gather and monitor feedback so we can maintain and continuously improve on our service.
Thank you.
Customer in Focus – Richard Wigglesworth
This month we had the pleasure of speaking with our Company Ambassador – Richard ‘Wiggy’ Wigglesworth. Father of three, Wiggy was born in Blackpool and is an English rugby union player for Saracens.
Wiggy started his professional career with Sale Sharks in 2001 until moving to Saracens in 2010 where he has appeared over 200 times. In 2018/2019 Wiggy broke former captain Steve Borthwick’s record as the all-time Premiership appearance holder. He has appeared in two world cups, won six league titles and three Heineken Cups with 31 England caps to his name. More recently, he was the defence and kicking coach of Canada at the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
When he’s not busy being a scrum half or coaching, Wiggy is often seen on the golf course with buddy Owen Farrell, spending time with family and working alongside Active Digital on sports app development projects.
How did you get into playing rugby? I was football mad but my dad got into rugby later in his life and he loved it so I think it was always his plan to make sure I got a chance to play. Once I played my first game, that was it, I was hooked!
2. Can you tell us a few career highlights for you? My first England start was against France away and managed to win and score in the last minute, this is one I will never forget, I was so nervous before the game. Another would be the first of our European cups wins at Saracens. We tried and failed in semi finals and finals the few years before, which made it even sweeter when we finally won it.
3. What do you enjoy most about rugby as a sport? Definitely the people I play with is the best bit. I love the competition and the games but all my best mates and memories have come from rugby and they will last long after I stop playing.
4. Do you have any particular hero or someone you look up to in your life? Loads of different people I look up to and respect in rugby and loads who’ve helped me along the way. But can’t look past my Parents. They gave up so much time to make sure I had the chance to play sport and have always been there, and still come and watch now.
5. What’s next for you on or off the pitch? Ah that’s the question I get asked the most now and still haven’t found an answer that keeps anyone happy. I’ve always been told to play on as long as you feel good and can contribute. I tick both of those so I’ll play on and then move into coaching. I’ve been working through my badges and getting hands on experience alongside my playing for a number of years now, so when the right opportunity comes up for me and my family I’ll be ready to take it.
